DIVINE ATELIER x AP: An interview with the designer
We caught up with the amazing Divine Atelier at Barcelona Bridal Fashion week back in April. With the 2026 collection hitting our store, now hanging beautifully on our rails, we decided to share the magic with our brides…
Hi Mara, it’s so nice to be here with you guys - the new collection is just amazing.
Can you tell us a bit about the history of Divine Atelier? Where did it all begin?
Divine Atelier was founded around 20 years ago by my mum, who I’m now working alongside every day. We gradually built the brand over the years, step by step, with a lot of heart.
And what was your own journey into the company?
I’ve always been involved. I helped in the workshop when I was younger. Later, I went to university in London to study art, and when I came back, we all began working together as a family. My dad is also part of the company, so there’s a lot of dedication and love behind everything we do. We truly enjoy working together and releasing beautiful new dresses each year.
In your eyes, who is the Divine Atelier bride?
She is sexy in an elevated, refined way—very modern, confident, and completely sure of who she is. She’s not afraid to show it.
And how would you describe the AP bride?
I would say she’s a very elegant bride—modern, sophisticated, but completely effortless.
Why do you think AP and Divine Atelier align so well in terms of brand values?
I think we work well together because we promote the same core values: quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. We both value innovation, creativity, and bringing fashion-forward ideas into the bridal world.
What excites you most about this partnership with AP?I’m excited for our future together because I truly believe this will be a long-lasting relationship. I can’t wait to see all the incredible brides wearing our designs. I think this partnership will take us to amazing places.
Finally, how would you describe the new 2026 collection?Elevated, sophisticated, effortless—and simply amazing.
