REAL WEDDING J & S.

For three unforgettable days, Julie and Scott celebrated at Drumtochty Castle surrounded by 60 of their closest family and friends. From the elegant welcome evening to a romantic spring wedding filled with florals, cocktails, saxophone music and endless dancing, every detail reflected their joyful, stylish and completely personal love story.

From Cocktail Bar to "I Do"

Every love story has a beginning, and Julie's starts with a smile and a sense of humour.

"She was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when she met him... no, but seriously, I was a barmaid, he came in, and the rest is history! Lots of Cosmos and French Martinis later, here we are."

Nine years later, Scott planned a proposal that Julie describes as nothing short of magical. During a holiday to Morocco, he surprised her with a sunset trip into the breathtaking Agafay Desert. Believing they were simply heading for dinner, Julie happily followed him to a spectacular viewpoint where cocktails awaited.

As the sun set, Scott joined her for what she thought was a photograph. Instead, he dropped to one knee and presented her with a stunning platinum trilogy diamond ring.

"It was almost identical to my Grandma's ring – a ring I had adored and admired for years. It was perfect."

Finding the one.

Julie had followed Anne Priscilla Bridal long before she was engaged and always knew she wanted to find her dress with AP.

Although she tried on around 20 gowns, one stood above the rest.

"From the second I had Vienna on, she was just it. I saw myself as a bride."

With Jenna's encouragement to try something outside her comfort zone, Julie found the gown that felt unmistakably like her.

"I didn't cry – I just jumped for joy!"

A Dress That Reflected Her

Julie fell in love with Vienna by Hera Couture because it matched her personality perfectly.

"I am quite a bold person, and the Vienna gown is not for the faint-hearted. That's what I loved about it. I knew people would see it and say, 'That is so totally Julie!'"

She credits her stylist, Jenna, with making the entire experience unforgettable.

"Jenna was AMAZING. She made my experience a dream."

A Dream Highland Wedding

After considering an overseas wedding, Julie and Scott realised their hearts were in Scotland and chose Drumtochty Castle for an unforgettable three-day celebration.

"The wedding day itself was just a dream... a romantic ceremony followed by the party of a lifetime."

Surrounded by spring florals, cocktails, live saxophone music and their closest family and friends, Julie celebrated in the gown that had been made for her - Vienna by Hera Couture.

A Few Words from Julie

Looking back on the day, Julie says seeing Scott's reaction made every moment of the bridal journey worthwhile.

"He adored how I looked. He just thought my dress was so cool, whimsical, and totally me!"

As for married life, she's embracing every moment.

"It doesn't feel any different, but I love my new name... and my husband says yes all the time! I hope it lasts!"

And her advice to future couples is beautifully simple:

"Make your day about the two of you. Forget about everyone else. Honestly!"

After all, the most unforgettable weddings are the ones that feel authentically yours.
