#APVIP - TESS

One of Ap's favourite things about their brides is the ability to embrace their own unique style and look effortless in doing so. Having worked in fashion, Tess came to Ap with strong sense of how she wanted to express herself.

Knowing one another inside out, Tess wanted to take her partner; Greg by surprise and chose a dress he simply couldn't imagine!  Team Ap knew that Tess's dress had to turn heads,  something unpredictable yet subtle. Tess opted for a subtle coloured dress with layers upon layers of titanium and ivory tulle with textured embroidery.

Despite planning the wedding from over 10,000 miles away from their home city of Sydney, Tess and Greg's personality was injected into every aspect of their wedding day, not just the dress.

Ap are so proud to share Tess and Gregs wedding, not only because they are such a warm couple with happiness radiating from each and every picture, but also because Tess has since became and Ap stylist.

We are so delighted to share todays' love story and wish Greg and Tess a lifetime of happiness...

Lets start at the the beginning, how did you meet your husband?

We met at a bar in Bondi, Sydney Asutralia after my coffee date with a friend turned into (quite) a few proseccos. That night, Greg walked me home but, given the lateness of the hour and having had a drink or two, I forgot to save his number. A few days later, Greg hand wrote a letter and dropped it in my letterbox asking me out to dinner and also sneakily adding, had I seen his credit card which he had lost the night we met? I hadn't - funnily enough as it didn't exist and was just a clever way to to ensure a response. The rest is history!

What do you love most about him?

His large heart and the dedication he has to succeeding in all he does

Tell us ALL about the proposal?

We had just moved into our new apartment that day, I got home from work and the boxes were almost all unpacked, a bottle of champagne in the fridge and the biggest bunch of roses I had ever seen. Having no idea, I thought it was a house warming gift he got us! After dinner, we were chilling on the couch in our hoodies sipping champagne when he popped the question.

The wifi for the house! Haha! We wanted to contact our parents to tell them the exciting news! Then we decided on having a marquee wedding at Greg's fathers

How many Dresses did you try on before finding "the one"?

It was the first dress I tried on! I tried a few others on at my appointment at AP but kept coming back to the first.

How did you know when you had found the dress?

I couldn't stop smiling and didn't want to take it off! I kept playing with the tulle in the skirt and spinning around dancing.

When planing your wedding, did you encounter any surprises?

I was surprised at how early venues close, that's why we decided to have a marquee wedding at home, so we could dance late into the night.

Whats the best relationship advice you have ever received?

Don't go to bed upset/annoyed with each other.

What was your favourite moment in your wedding day?

Tough question, there are so many to choose from. From the kiss after saying I do, seeing everything we had planned from overseas come together and sitting at the front during dinner, watching everyone having a blast eating great food, drinking fab drinks and laughing!

Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran

What advice would you give to a Bride-to-Be?

Don't sweat the small things, it may seem massive at the time, but noone will remember the small details. Focus on the things you remember from parties/weddings you have been to. Also, smile, smile all day, there is always a camera around!

What is the best part of becoming a MRS?

Knowing there is a new chapter in my life that has just started, it is a very exciting time!
